Governance Statement
Capital City Housing NPC is committed to principles of good corporate governance as defined in the King 3 Report (and subsequently King 4) on Corporate Governance. It has its own Governance Manual which sets out and describes a means to achieve good corporate governance. The manual is an everyday tool to assist in the running of the association and provides for the association to run within the bounds of good governance. The manual helps to ensure that the association achieves its vision and mission efficiently and effectively and also ensures that the Company remains transparent in its dealings with tenants and other stakeholders.
The governance structures of the association, in particular its Board and Senior Management team are responsible to ensure that the day to day operations of the Company are in line with the provisions of the Governance Manual, and that the Company maintains its commitment to good corporate governance.
