As part of our on-going community development obligations, Capital City Housing NPC has been busy at the existing sites. We have created space for tuckshops on both developments. One of the most common complaints that we heard from tenants was regarding the inconvenience of having to travel to obtain small conveniences such as bread, milk, and airtime.

To this end, we created a small tuckshop on each development. The tuckshop is run by a tenant, and stocks small, everyday items such as bread, milk, airtime, and so forth. The tuckshops on both sites have been a resounding success, and are well supported by the tenants of the developments.
