Enriching your life by building communities

“Community is about doing something together, that makes belonging matter.”

At Capital City Housing, we believe in offering a holistic living experience for our tenants by building social housing communities into close-knit families. We offer a range of programmes and services to facilitate better community living – here’s how:

Community events
From kids’ movie nights, picnic parties, to festival celebrations ~ at our Social Housing developments, we ensure that our tenants enjoy a sense of belonging and togetherness. These events help forge friendships for a stable and wholesome community-living experience.

Children’s programmes
Providing our younger residents with stimulating venues to improve themselves is one of our priorities, therefore we offer a range of children’s programmes to learners of all ages.

Our Acacia Park and Signal Hill developments have Reading Centres and reading programmes where children receive assistance with their reading and schoolwork.

We also have fully equipped Computer Centres at Acacia Park and Signal Hill developments, where learners have access to high-speed internet to do their research and assignments.

Another valuable programme we hope to reintroduce, after lockdown restrictions are lifted, is our Football Club, where children are given football training and enjoy the excitement of friendly matches.

Adolescent support group
The Adolescent support groups for young women, that currently runs at our Acacia Park development, offers our younger women residents a safe, supportive and non-judgmental place to discuss their issues, as well as receive strong mentorship and guidance. A similar plan for young men is also in the works.

Community garden
Thanks to the generous donations and assistance from Gift of the Givers, our Acacia Park complex now has a sustainable community garden. The garden provides a means of employment to residents who have low income, offers a great opportunity for children to learn about the importance of growing their own food, and also provides residents an ideal place to purchase fresh, organic produce.

So, what are you waiting for? If you would like to become a part of our thriving, well-knit community and feel a sense of belonging then, click here to apply to be a tenant.
